News story on the dance work Yellow punk dolls, created in collaboration by choreographer Ruby Shang and playwright David Henry Hwang. Scenes from rehearsals of the work, which was first performed at the Joyce Theater in New York in January 1991, include a section based on kendo, a Japanese martial art form.
