Variant 3 is variant 2, but with the "II." in running title on p. 82 askew. Variant 4 same as variant 3, but with no period after the "I" in running title on p. 20. (cf. Randolf, F.L. Hagen March 1903, his white morocco book-label to front paste-down. -- Subsequently acquired by Carl H. Pforzheimer at the Hagen sale, Anderson's, May 13, 1918, lot 162.
