Summary
  1. Interviews with tap dancers and choreographers Brenda Bufalino and Lynn Dally are interspersed with performance excerpts by their respective companies, the American Tap Dance Orchestra and the Jazz Tap Ensemble. The two dancers discuss their dance training and careers, belief in tap dancing as a serious art form, collaborations with musicians and fellow dancers, use of improvisation, approach to choreography, and future projects. They are ultimately seen performing together in 1993.
