  • Description from Revill, The roaring silence: John Cage, a life: A form scheme for the activities had been devised by chance means...Cage read one of his lectures...[Merce] Cunningham danced...[David] Tudor played the piano. [Robert] Rauschenberg played scratchy records...his "White" painting hung from the rafters.
