The players play 12 water-filled conch shells by tilting or blowing into them, with a tape recording (or live sounds) of pine cones burning.
Choreographed by Merce Cunningham with scenery and lighting by Morris Graves, and first performed by Merce Cunningham and Compnay at the Cornish School, Seattle, Summer 1977.
