Holograph copy of the speech which Joseph Jefferson intended to give at the dedication of the Actors' Fund Home but which he misplaced before the dedication. Accompaning the manuscript is a letter from Daniel Frohman to Joseph Jefferson's son explaining that Frohman himself gave the speech at the Actors' Fund Home at a later date.
