- Cassette 1. Recorded Dec. 12, 1994. Ms. Turocy discusses her October concert, which was recorded by the Dance Collection; general issues regarding the choreographing of Bach orchestral suites, and, in particular, her interpretations of the Bach Orchestral suites no. 1 and no. 2, Handel's Water music, Gluck's Orfeo ed Euridice, and Handel's Concerto grosso, op. 6, no. 6; injuries; future commissions; her working process; funding; her desire to contribute to the art form; Mark Morris; Jiří Kylián; meeting her husband James Richman; his work; their work and lives together.

Ms. Turocy discusses Richman's contribution to her work; conductor Christopher Hogwood; the relationship of dance and music; the comparison of various composers, particularly Mozart to his predecessors; the relationship of modern dance and ballet to baroque dance; working in France and Sweden; the Drottningholm Theater in Stockholm; the particular qualities of baroque theaters; and her ideas for a music video and a teaching video.
