58 prints : etching; 24.1 x 33.7 cm. or smaller.
Summary
Original etchings by Chaplin, some of them after his own paintings. Portraits include Daubigny, Nanteuil, Ricard and Ziem. Landscape prints include sheep, swine and women peasants. Prints of women include representations of women spinning, knitting, reading, adjusting a garter, sleeping, blowing soap bubbles, and nudes. Also includes representations of the goddess Diana, the fictional character Angelica and Saint Sebastian.
