Biography
Anne Carroll Moore (1871-1961) was a children's librarian, and an author and critic of children's books. She headed the Children's Dept. of the Pratt Institute Library from 1896 to 1906, and was the first Supervisor of Work with Children at the New York Public Library, 1906-1941.
