- Microfilm of material in the Dance Collection. Press clippings and magazine articles in various languages from European, U.S., and South American publications. Chronologically arranged. Covers the career of choreographer Mikhail Fokin from 1914 until his death in 1942 and of his wife, ballerina Vera Fokina. Contains material on Les Ballets Russes de Dyagilev (1914 and 1921), the Morris Gest spectacles Mecca (1920-21) and Aphrodite (1921), the Ziegfeld Follies (1922), the Fokine Ballet, Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires (1931), Ida Rubinstein (1934), and the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo. Includes obituaries (1942) for Mikhail Fokin and (1958) for Vera Fokina. There is no material for the years 1945-47, 1959-60, or 1968-73.
