The largest series correspondence (1326 items), contains letters primarily to Irma Duncan including three by Isadora Duncan to her and one to all of her adopted daughters. Other correspondents include Irma Duncan's mother, the other adopted Duncan daughters (Anna, Theresa, Erika, and Lisa), E. Gordon Craig, Paris Singer, Augustin Duncan, and Edward Steichen. A selected index of professional correspondence within the chronological series is provided in the finding aid.
The second series of writings and memorabilia (104 items) includes Irma Duncan's diaries of 1921, her notebook "Guide through the Duncan system of dancing," two autobiographical holograph items by Isadora Duncan on her activities in 1904 and 1905, Isadora Duncan's own sketch of the Moscow school uniform, and a copy of her baptismal certificate.
A series of miscellaneous items (28 items) includes unidentified notes and drawings.
