  2. Letters, notes, miscellaneous documents, lectures, articles, chapters for a proposed book, and poetry. The material dates primarily from 1936 to 1941, when Grant Code was working as an editor at the Brooklyn Museum and attempting to organize a dance program there. Many of the letters refer to his attempts to collaborate with the Federal Theater project of the WPA in setting up a workshop for young choreographers.
  3.
