Summary
Promotional tape for a project intended to preserve the choreography of Paul Taylor, instituted in 1992 with a challenge grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. To initiate this project, a seminar at Jacob's Pillow in Lee, Massachusetts, brought together Taylor, former and present members of his company, and student dancers, who worked together on stagings of Aureole and Three epitaphs. Scenes from this seminar appear on this tape along with a brief summary of Taylor's achievements, archival footage of his works, and a sample of the innovative videotapes that the project intends to generate.
