The training of professional dancers is represented by Jean Cébron's modern dance class at the Folkwangschule Essen, and a tribute to his colleague Hans Züllig. Poème dansée, choreographed by Cébron, and Onno, choreographed by Urs Dietrich, a student of Züllig, are performed by Folkwangschule students.
