Tribute to Margot Fonteyn by her colleagues and contemporaries, who reminisce about her qualities as a dancer and trace the high points of her career. Her longtime collaboration with choreographer Frederick Ashton is recalled, as are her partnerships with Robert Helpmann, Michael Somes, and Rudolf Nureyev. The speakers are Kenneth MacMillan, Ninette de Valois, Alicia Markova, Leslie Edwards, Pamela May, Beryl Grey, Michael Somes, Moira Shearer, Anthony Dowell, Antoinette Sibley, Roland Petit, John Lanchbery, Natalia Makarova, and Patricia Foy.
