Summary
  1. Documentary on Serge Lifar's visit to Paris in conjunction with the Paris Opéra Ballet's May 1986 revival of his ballet Les mirages (music: Henri Sauguet; libretto: Lifar and A. M. Cassandre; scenery/costumes: Cassandre). Lifar is seen on the street, at Maxim's restaurant, and at the Paris Opéra, where he attends a dress rehearsal of the ballet. During the course of the film he reminisces about the past, confers with Opéra personnel (including Claude Bessy, Cyril Atanassoff, and Patrice Bart, rehearsal master for the ballet), and addresses the company at the conclusion of the rehearsal.
