Summary
Documentary on KoKoRo Dance Company, the only Butō dance company in Canada. Archival footage taken during World War II in Japan accompanies a summary of the origin and development of Butō. Company directors Barbara Bourget and Jay Hirabayashi, who are seen rehearsing in the studio and preparing for performance, talk about the Butō aestheic and their company's aims. They are seen performing their work Aeon, to music by Robert Rosen.
