Summary
Drama based on episodes from the life of the artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, re-creating scenes depicted in his works. Includes several scenes of the cancan, danced by actors portraying La Goulue, Valentin le désossé, Chocolat, and other personalities of the period, as well as a female ensemble. A children's social dancing class appears in a flashback to Toulouse-Lautrec's childhood. The French ballerina Colette Marchand plays a non-dancing role.
