Summary

1. Performance art work based on the ancient Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, with sign interpretation for the deaf and hearing-impaired by members of Hands On: Beth Prevor (project coordinator), Candace Brecker (interpreter director), and Bill Moody (interpreter). Songs sung in English are interpreted in American Sign Language; French and Italian songs are interpreted in French Sign Language. At the end of cassette 1 is a question-and-answer period including Kelly and his collaborators, members of Hands On, and David White, executive director of Dance Theater Workshop.
