Summary
Documentary of a healing workshop directed by Anna Halprin in 1989 for people living with AIDS, ARC, and HIV-positive status, and their caregivers, supporters, and friends. The workshop, which incorporated exercises in both group and individual movement expression, included an Earth run on Mount Tamalpais, which was linked to Earth runs in other parts of the world, as well as to the original Circle the earth performance piece presented in 1981. The workshop's nine parts were: I want to live, Rising and falling, The rocks, Vortex, Wake-up call, Mask dance, Restoration, Earth run, and an untitled closing dance.
