Summary
Choreographers George Faison and Ron Field look back upon their experiences in choreographing for Broadway and television. Field's work on the musical Cabaret is represented through several excerpts, featuring Joel Grey and others. Field also discusses working with Mikhail Baryshnikov on the telecast Baryshnikov on Broadway. Both guests pay tribute to Jack Cole and his influence on musical theater. Other topics include the problems of economic survival for independent dance companies, and maintaining high performance standards in long-running shows. Performance excerpts depict unidentified works created by Faison.
