Summary
  1. Guests are four composers, each interviewed separately. Sergio Cervetti, musical director of the Kenneth Rinker Dance Company, talks about the chance scores he created in the 1960s, electronic music, and the critical reception of his work, which is represented by excerpts from Nina Wiener's Wind devil and Lullabies for Elisabeth. Tom Wachunas recalls his first works for dance and the development of his working method, his observations of the varying musical requirements of different choreographers, and the inspiration he finds in dance. His music is represented by an excerpt from Diane Jacobowitz's Kampala (?). Tigger Benford discusses the need for interaction in the collaborative process, his experiences as an accompanist for dance classes, and his course in music for dancers. He and Martha Partridge perform Box tops, a clapping dance. A. Leroy gives his observations of choreographers' usual approaches towards music and suggests some ways to expand these. His music is represented by an excerpt from Charles Moulton's Stunt plus (?).
