Summary
  1. Guests are Sandra Cameron and the team of Pierre Dulaine and Yvonne Marceau, all ballroom dance champions who now direct schools. Their discussion centers upon exhibition ballroom dancing and its interrelation with other dance forms, kinship with competition sports, demands in terms of time and money, and monetary and intangible rewards. They also discuss partnering and the benefits of dance instruction. Cameron and her partner Bill Davies are seen in several excerpts from Larry Schulz's film Partners, including their performances of the quickstep and the tango. Dulaine and Marceau are seen performing the continental. In Esoterica balletica, Shelley Berg describes the interracial social dances organized in the 1930s as a means of promoting civil rights.
