Summary

Two choreographer/videographer teams, Wendy Perron and Cathy Weis, and Deborah Gladstein and Sam Kantor, talk about their collaborations on videodance works. Gladstein and Perron relate how they became interested in video, and Perron comments upon the use of videodance to make political statements. Excerpts from Gladstein and Kantor's Kalahari, and Perron and Weis's Standard deviation are screened and discussed by their creators. In Esoterica balletica, accountant Douglas Burack advises dancers on deductions they can take on their personal income tax returns.
