- Summary
- Choreographer Jack Cole is remembered by two longtime associates: Hal Schaefer, who worked with him as a composer and arranger, and dancer Ethel Martin. Among the topics they discuss are his innovations in dance and music; his meticulousness, desire for perfection, and other personal qualities; and his pervasive influence over dancers, musicians, and actors. Martin describes the cinema dance workshop that he started at Columbia Pictures. In conclusion, Schaefer performs a piano improvisation.
