Summary

Dancers/choreographers Kathryn Bernson and Stormy Mullis, who had worked together for nine years at the time of the interview, discuss their working relationship. They talk about the challenges of partnering for two women, contrasting this with traditional male-female partnering and its sexual stereotypes. They also discuss the "eccentric" qualities of their choreography, the financial problems of presenting their own work, and their recent collaboration with video artists in Rochester, New York. An excerpt from their videodance Double gestures concludes the program.
