Summary

1. Documentary on the National Ballet of Canada, beginning with an interview with footwear supervisor Carol Beevers, who describes how ballet shoes are made and distributed among the company. Wardrobe cutter Angela Arana then discusses how the company's costumes, including tutus, are made. Principal dancers Gizella Witzowsky and Rex Harrington talk about their training and experiences as performers. In conclusion, Reid Anderson, the company's artistic director, discusses the company's long-range projects and goals. The documentary is illustrated by brief footage of company classes and rehearsals.
