Summary
Documentary on the creation of Severe clear, a collaborative work by Reitz and Turrell, with Skaggs. Reitz rehearses with Skaggs, makes drawings that will form a visual chart of the work, and presents a lecture-demonstration on the work. Turrell supervises the building of the dancers' box-like performing space and works on its lighting scheme. In conclusion, excerpts of the work are seen in performance at Radcliffe College in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in June 1985.
