Summary
Filmed in the village of Sara. Women, later joined by young men, move anticlockwise around the nugāra, a cylindrical double membrane drum. The women, grouped according to their social status, advance with small steps, swinging their arms and plaits. The men carry long millet stems rather than the lances usually borne by men in this dance.
