Summary
Filmed in the village of Barama. Mourning dances, called dodi or mutu, take place on the burial day of the deceased. Both men and women participate, dressed in festive attire. The dance movements are characterized by quick, energetic stamping steps, accompanied by an orchestra of flutes, rattles, and drums.
