- Summary
- Edited footage of the 14th Annual King Kamehameha Hula Competition, held in Honolulu, Hawaii. Includes performances by the first, second, and third prize winners in the categories of hula kahiko (ancient hula) danced by wahine [women], kane [men], and combined groups; 'oli (chant); and hula 'auana (modern hula) danced by wahine, kane, and combined groups. The dances are interspersed with footage of the landscape and flora of the Hawaiian Islands.
