Although there is no full-blown dance number in the musical, several of the songs include coordinated group movement by the ensemble of cadets and their dates; among these are "Wish I may," "The three B's," and "Buckle down, Winsocki." Walker also performs a comic song and dance duet, "I want a guy who can dance," with the orchestra leader, Harry James.
