- Rehearsal of a women's tap dance company directed by Mable Lee. Musical accompaniment includes George Gershwin's Strike up the band and the song Mr. Sandman, which the women sing as they dance. Lee reminisces to the company about her career as a dancer at the Apollo Theater in New York; in an interview following the rehearsal she continues these reminiscences and discusses her hopes for her company.
