- Depicts a male figure, full length to front, his head turned left. He wears a black tunic decorated in gold, blue and white. Epaulets and gold bands suggest a dress uniform. His tights are blue. A tracing paper overlay has details of the costume. The words "cavalier for Italian" appear upper left and the names "Palle Jacobsen" and "Tommy Frishoi" appear lower left on the overlay.
