- Inscribed upper left: Venus. Costume design for Venus in a production of Antony Tudor's ballet The judgment of Paris for the Royal Danish Ballet, premiered there November 15, 1982.
- Depicts a plump woman with a long blonde wig. She wears a brief costume of turquoise trimmed with yellow around the bottom and ending in a large bow tied at the back. She also wears white high-heeled pumps with fish-net stockings and has a pink hoop in either hand and a pink rose on top of her head. Written instructions about the costume appear on either side of the figure.
