Summary
Carl Wolz, dean of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, takes Billie Mahoney to the site of the Academy, then under construction. En route, he discusses the Academy's plans and goals and the expansion of artistic activities in Hong Kong. He talks about his own background in dance, including study at the Juilliard School, his certification in the Dance Notation Bureau's first notator training program, and his twenty years at the University of Hawaii, where he studied Asian dance at the East-West Center and initiated a dance program in the department of drama and theater.
