Preceding the ballet itself, choreographer Brian Macdonald discusses the Schumanns with the performers, and Denise Massé plays Schumann's Introduction and allegro in G major for piano and orchestra, op. 92, with the CBC Symphony, conducted by Vladimir Jelinek.
