Music: Aram Khachaturian (Adagio from Gayane) Danced by three members of the San Francisco Ballet: Allyson Deane, Nancy Dickson, and Tomm Ruud. SUMMARY: Three dancers are seen in rehearsal, in the arduous process of practicing and honing their art. They are rehearsing Tomm Ruud's Mobile, but the film is shot and edited to reveal very little of the ballet itself. A section of the actual performance of the ballet is then seen.
