  • Cassette 1. Brief introduction to Auguste Bournonville's life and theatrical work. Dinna Bjørn speaks on Bournonville technique and demonstrates eight combinations from the daily classes illustrating adagio, port de bras, batterie, epaulement, and variations from repertory. Mr. Larsen talks about principles of mime. He acts two brief mime solos from Kermesse in Brügge, then Mr. Larsen and Miss Bjørn present two segments from Far from Denmark, including the letter scene.
  • Cassette 2. Mime scene between Madge, the witch, and James, from La sylphide. Two excerpts from Napoli, one of them the street singer's scene. Question and answer session with the audience, mostly about interpretation of roles.
