- Summary: The Taketomi Island folk dance festival in Okinawa Prefecture, filmed during six days of the ten day festival. Shows the villagers' preparations, harvest dances, a scythe dance, and mock combats with scythes or spears. Various dances are performed in a pavillion, including masks dances, some with comic figures, a hoe dance, and several women's group dances.
