Summary
  1. U.S. television presentation of the 1970 film produced by the Peking Movie Production Company. A modern revolutionary ballet from the People's Republic of China set in the second civil war period (1927-37) on Hainan Island. The slave girl, Wu Ching-hua, beaten and left for dead by the cruel Kuomintang landlord, is rescued by the Red Army commander, Hung Chang-ching. She joins the rebels, becomes politically aware, and fights against the oppressors.
