Summary
  1. Documentary on the life of Vaslav Nijinsky. Includes still photographs of Nijinsky offstage and as he appeared in various roles in Ballets Russes de Diaghilev productions of Schéhérazade, Spectre de la rose, Petrouchka, L'ap̀res-midi d'un faune, Jeux, and Sacre du printemps. Interspersed are interviews with Dame Marie Rambert, excerpts from Nijinsky's diaries read by John Hurt, and a choreographic interpretation of his life danced by Nicholas Johnson (Nijinsky), Gideon Avrahami (Diaghilev), and Kate Harrison (Nijinsky's wife Romola) to the music of Sergei Rakhmaninov's Vespers, op. 37.
