[Ambient noise.] The program host [Florence Becker Lennnon], reads aloud excerpts of poems by Walt Whitman and introduces the program and her guests, Helen Tamiris and Daniel Nagrin; Helen Tamiris and Daniel Nagrin discuss the significance of Walt Whitman's poetry for them and the dances they have created set to his poetry including Helen Tamiris' Walt Whitman suite and Daniel Nagrin's Faces; they also each read aloud from Walt Whitman's poetry including poems used in their respective dances. The program closes with Florence Becker Lennon reading aloud of an excerpt of a Walt Whitman poem.
