Summary
Walter Terry discusses male dancing, tracing American prejudice to a misunderstanding of court etiquette. Helen Tamiris recounts a recent lecture she gave to a group of physical education doctoral candidates about men in dance and the question of homosexuality. Terry and Tamiris discuss the need for male dancers, the prevalent stereotype of the effeminate male dancer, and the need for the American public to be exposed to more dance.
