- "The tobacco ointment": p. 91 (1st section); followed by: "The vertues: It cures tumours, impostumes, wounds, ulcers, gunshot, scabs, the stinging with nettles, hornets, venemous beasts, scalding tho' with burning oyl, with lightning ... its good for the head and the stomach ... It is also good for the piles and gout."
