Summary
At the final session of the 15th Anniversary Conference of the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters' Provisional Committee for the Organization of Colored Locomotive Firemen, Brakemen and Switchmen, Brother Patterson begins with an invocation. A. Philip Randolph speaks about the union shop law and a new development on the Central of Georgia Railway affecting colored switchmen. Following are several representatives from the Central of Georgia Railway voicing their grievances regarding concerns on the job, pay, seniority, working conditions, scheduling, etc. A few delegates from the Brotherhood make additional remarks and A. Philp Randolph contributes comments and responds to their statements. Randolph then talks about the Montgomery Bus Boycott and the expenses it incurs.
