- Views of Pres. William McKinley and his wife, members of his cabinet and other dignitaries including Admiral Dewey, Maj. Gen's Wheeler, Lawton, Shafler and Kiefer, Gov. Jos. E. Johnson, Booker T. Washington, Gov. Lind of Minnesota. Primarily views of McKinley at various events and speaking engagements, including the 41st Anniversary of the Lincoln-Douglas debates, at a commemoration of the Alamo, reviewing troops, including returning Spanish American War Veterans, visiting Civil War veterans in a Soldiers' Home, speaking to school children in various locations, visiting Tuskegee Institute, watching parades, including a boat parade in New Orleans and a parade in L.A. that included a Chinese Dragon and "Rough Riders," and visiting a gold mine in Arizona and being photographed by a young girl there. Other locations depicted include Oakland, San Francisco, San José, Santa Barbara and Pacific Grove, California, El Paso and San Antonio, Texas, Decatur and Huntsville, Alabama, Alliance and Canton, Ohio, West Superior, Wisc., Galesburg and Quincy, Illinois, Minneapolis, and Memphis, Tennessee. Also includes views of McKinley's inaugurations in 1897 and 1901, his funeral in Washington, D. C. and final resting place in Canton, Ohio.
