Biography

1. Ruth Vollmer (1900-1982) was a sculptor; Hermann Vollmer (1896-1959) was a pediatric physician. By the late 1930s they had emigrated from Germany to New York City. Ruth Vollmer was the daughter of the German conductor, musicologist and editor Ludwig Landshoff (1874-1941).
