  • Views of New York: Central Park: winter scenes, Conservatory Gardens, the reservoir, artist at work, views at the bandstand including "I am an American Day" and an Interfaith celebration, views of a horseriding accident, people relaxing, reading, walking, taking pictures in the snow, children fishing, feeding pigeons, with model boats and planes, playing cards, playing soldier, drawing with chalk, playing in sandbox, in pool, Boy Scouts in tug-of-war, and children dancing on Retarded Children's day; street scenes: street musicians, 1930s, and 1950s in Greenwich Village; art shows in Greenwich village; teenagers eating ice-cream pops atop car hood; children on swing in Harlem; man fixing cab; demolition of armory; firefighters; large American flag over doorway; beggars; man going through garbage can; homeless man in doorway; shoeshine boys and other vendors; African American war veteran demonstrating against war, 1946; a demonstration in Harlem, 1942; peace demonstration in "Italian Village," 1943; men at work paving street, some views showing boy in cowboy jacket watching; men eating lunch; a Con Edison men-at-work sign; other signs on buildings, 50th Anniversary of the Sanitation Dept. sign, and "Peace now" graffiti on traffic signal box; woman with peace sign earrings; New York Public Library and lion; Dayliner cruiser going under bridge; children in the shower at Hechsher Foundation; James Weldon Johnson Housing project; Rockefeller Center at Christmas.

Other World's Fair views include buildings, sculpture, the base of the Trylon and Perisphere, attactions such as the parachute drop and animals at Frank Beech's Jungleland, in particular the camel, children performing, and an event commemorating the 40th Anniversary of the Internation Ladies' Garment Workers' Union, with Eleanor Roosevelt and Robert F. Wagner on dias, Margaret Bourke-White in audience, and view of Franklin Roosevelt's car at 96th and Madison after his visiting the Fair; beach views: woman with newspaper over face, Rye Beach, Coney Island views including people playing in the waves and lovers on the beach, and a view of a band at a soccer game on Randall's Island; churches: in particular St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Cathedral, including interior and exterior views, views of reconstructing the dome, a wedding, clergy, including the funeral of Bishop Nicholas Kodroff; entrance to First Episcopal church; Guggenheim Museum on opening day, 1959, exterior view with ice-cream vendor, interior view with people and painting; garden at the Cloisters.
