General and street views of New Orleans: general views from St. Patrick's, looking N.W. with church, homes and buildings visible, east showing buildings and the river; Canal St.: South side looking toward lake with Clay statue, from St. Charles St. to the river, views showing street rialways running down the center of Canal St. with other traffic to the sides; boys stand at entrance to narrow Old Exchange Alley, overhung with balconies; Graven street with construction materials (?) and hay; wooden houses along an innundated Main street, group of African Americans on high ground in the middle; Mandeville Drive, overhund by moss covered trees; St. Charles Street showing street cars, St. Charles Hotel.
